Expert: in 2027 in Pensions will be indexed twice in Russia

In 2027 in Russia is expected to increase all major types of pensions, including insurance, social and military, and specific amounts of increases are currently being formed.

This was announced in a comment to RIA Novosti by the expert of the Presidential Academy Tatyana Podolskaya. She noted that so far the indexing parameters are preliminary.

Insurance pensions are expected to be indexed twice. On February 1, payments for old age, disability and loss of breadwinner will increase.

The projected indexation rate will be 6.8 percent, which corresponds to the forecast level of actual inflation for 2026, to which the February adjustment is adjusted.

Another increase is scheduled for April 1. It will be based on the growth rates of average wages and incomes of the Social Fund of Russia (SFR). The growth will be 3.3 percent.

It follows from Podolsk's explanations that spring and winter recalculations will affect both non-working and working citizens. For the latter category, an additional traditional recalculation of payments is provided in August.

In addition, an adjustment of funded pensions will be made in August. This increase is carried out by generating income from investing pension savings.
