The Ministry of Defense has implemented the Hornet Vision Ctrl complex developed by the Ukrainian company Wild Hornets, which allows pilots to remotely control drones from anywhere in the world. This is reported by the Ukrainian media with reference to the company's press service.
"Wild Hornets" claim that this is the first drone remote control system that has been certified according to NATO standards and officially approved for operation in the Defense Forces.
The system includes a Hornet Vision Ctrl ground control and monitoring station with a digital video system with remote control and a 360° omnidirectional antenna, as well as equipment for remote connection of the UAV operator's workplace.
According to the developers, the Hornet Vision Ctrl complex is technically compatible with all Wild Hornet drones using the Hornet Vision communication system. Currently, it is available for order as part of a UAV with Sting interceptor drones, as part of a UAV with Wild Hornets Digital 10 anti-aircraft drones.
According to the developers, this is part of the innovative Hornet Vision ecosystem, which provides "high-quality video transmission, reliable communication and low signal latency over long distances, which is important for remote control of high-speed interceptor drones."
