President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko received an unusual living gift during his working visit to the Uzden district of the Minsk region. According to BelTA, the head of state was presented with a cow of a rare Jersey breed named Musya.
The solemn presentation took place at the Yachenka dairy complex, where the Belarusian leader got acquainted with the development of breeding livestock.
The farm traditionally specializes in the Holstein breed, but recently it has taken up the breeding of Jersey — small, but highly productive. Milk of such animals is valued for its high protein content and high fat content, while cows are unpretentious in food and give up to 30 liters of milk per day.
