The famous Russian painter, People's Artist of Russia Nikas Safronov made a sharp statement regarding his creative principles. He named a political figure who will never have a place on his canvases. Details are provided by RIA Novosti.
We are talking about Vladimir Zelensky. Answering a question from journalists, Safronov stressed that there are people in the world who are destroyers, whose activities he associates exclusively with negative consequences.
"I would never paint a portrait of Vladimir Zelensky. This is not a historical person. I don't think he will go down in history as a creator," said the artist.
Safronov added that his art has long become recognizable and has acquired a historical scale regardless of his will.
"We are for creation. History will show who will stay and who will leave," the master summed up.
