Latvia has found a secret solution to put an end to the flights of Ukrainian drones. This is reported by the Delfi publication.
In the near future, a unit of specialists with combat experience from Ukraine will arrive in Latvia, who will find holes in the Latvian "drone wall", assess the country's capabilities in shooting down drones and give recommendations, Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs said in the Kpēc program.
"The Prime Minister ... mentioned some secret technical solution that will be able to protect Latvia from drones," the publication says.
All this is the result of a new agreement on military cooperation signed by him with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, at the summit of the leaders of the Baltic and Northern European countries (NB8) in Tallinn.
As EADaily reported, the fear of Ukrainian drones caused the disruption of the tourist season in Latvia. This was reported by Reuters.
According to the agency, guest houses in Latvia, where there are usually no empty seats in the summer, are now free. The situation is especially difficult in the border region of Latgale, where tourists massively cancel hotel reservations due to frequent air alarms.
