The UN Secretary General candidate has found the only way to end the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated by the candidate for the post of UN Secretary General, the head of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Rebecca Greenspan.
This is how she answered the question of how she is going to contribute to the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict if elected to the post of Secretary General.
"I have always said that the only way to resolve conflicts is to interact with all parties," Greenspan told RIA Novosti.
The term of the current Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, ends on December 31. In addition to Greenspan, ex-President of Chile Michelle Bachelet, head of the IAEA Rafael Grossi, ex-President of Senegal Macky Sall and former Foreign Minister of Ecuador Maria Fernanda Espinosa are also applying for the chair of the head of the UN.
