The current authorities in The leader of the Strong Armenia party, Samvel Karapetyan, said that Yerevan will receive the election victory they dreamed of.

"I want to tell all of you: rest assured, the elections are not over yet, the results of the elections are still unknown, so don't worry. They won't get the victory they wanted," he told reporters.

According to the politician, even by the faces of the representatives of the ruling party during the press conference of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, it was clear that their business was not going well.

"With only 30% of the data, they claim that they have already won, but you know that 30% are only the results of rural areas. As soon as the results for the cities began, they began to decline rapidly, so they switched to special operations, and we have no idea which ones," the party leader said.

Karapetyan also added that the authorities interrupted the vote count, stating that they would present the results at 9 a.m.

"Seeing that their results are shamefully decreasing and decreasing by the minute, they stopped counting, and we don't even understand what they will present in the morning," Karapetyan continued.

At the same time, he called the elections shameful.

"You have all seen during this month what persecution we have been subjected to, what violence we have been subjected to. About 75 of our comrades have been arrested today, more than 700 people have been detained, and these people (the authorities), not calming down, decided to do incomprehensible things on election day," the politician concluded.

According to the results of processing 40% of the ballots, Pashinyan's "Civil Contract" has so far received 51.71%. The second place with 23.2% is occupied by the "Strong Armenia" bloc, the third by the "Armenia" bloc of ex—President Robert Kocharyan, gaining 9.33%.

A total of 1,476,597 people voted in the parliamentary elections.
