In Mariupol, on suspicion of treason, a woman was detained who transmitted data on the deployment of Russian troops to the special services of Ukraine, the press service of the FSB for the DPR reported.
"The Department of the FSB of Russia in the Donetsk People's Republic has stopped the illegal activities of a resident of Mariupol suspected of treason. The woman handed over to the Ukrainian special services information about the locations of the Russian Armed Forces units on the territory of the Mariupol municipal District," the report says.
As indicated, the detainee established contact with the Ukrainian special services in Telegram.
The investigative unit of the FSB opened a criminal case under Article 275 of the Criminal Code Russia's "High treason".
