Russian all-around champion Dmitry Isaev was killed

The champion of Russia in functional all-around, master of sports in gymnastics Dmitry Isaev was killed on the night of May 7 in Kaluga.

"Isaev was shot. A criminal case has been opened into the murder," the law enforcement agencies told TASS, specifying that the murder was committed on the night of May 7.

According to the telegram channel "Base", previously, the athlete was killed by his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.

"Two people have been detained in the case of the murder of Russian champion Dmitry Isaev. — Shortly before his death, Isaev informed his colleagues about a conflict with two men. Previously, one of them was his girlfriend's ex. They were detained in a garage cooperative — the investigation checks young people for involvement in the murder," the TC details.

According to the telegram channel Shot, the suspect is 41 years old, after the murder he tried to escape - the security forces detained him already outside Kaluga. The athlete died in the hospital.
