Near Kiev, a man was stabbed twice for greeting "Christ is risen!". This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
The incident occurred in Bright Monday in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kiev region. On April 13, a 35-year-old local resident entered the institution and greeted everyone with this Christian greeting, for which he almost lost his life.
"One of the visitors, a 19-year-old man professing a different faith, reacted aggressively to this. A verbal altercation arose on religious grounds, during which a young man decided to kill a Christian opponent," the police said in a statement.
The attacker called a 23-year-old co-religionist friend for help by phone, they knocked the man down, and the younger stabbed him twice in the abdomen and neck. It is noted that the victim was saved.
