Two US Air Force Black Hawk helicopters struck Iranian nomads, for which the IRGC expressed gratitude to them. This is reported by the ISNA news agency with reference to the statement of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

"The Kohgiluyeh, Boyer Ahmad and Bakhtiari tribes independently shot down two Black Hawk helicopters that entered the territory of our country to rescue the pilots of the downed aircraft," the IRGC said in a statement, quoted by military correspondent Boris Rozhin.

As EADaily reported, Iran shot down two American planes and two helicopters in one day. This was reported by NBC News, citing sources.

It was noted that this is an F-15 fighter and three more aircraft that participated in the search and rescue operation after the ejection of two pilots.

NBC News, citing an American official, reported that the second aircraft hit by Iranian fire was A-10 Thunderbolt, known as Warthog. It is designed for one pilot.
