The authority of the United States has been noticeably undermined by the Iranian war, and everything has gone awry in Washington. This was stated by Senator Alexei Pushkov.

According to him, the United States, firstly, has been unable to cope with the country of the Global South for more than a month, "whose GDP and economy are ten times smaller than the US GDP."

Secondly, Iran has launched a series of powerful strikes on US military bases in the Middle East, demonstrating "that the American military presence in these countries is a risk factor and not only does not guarantee the security of these countries, but directly undermines it." Thirdly, the inability of the United States to unblock the Strait of Hormuz and "the desire to wash its hands of the problem by shifting the task to other countries destroys the image of America as the world sheriff and guarantor of energy stability in the world," the senator notes.

"Finally, contradictory statements from Washington is aggravating the matter, creating the impression of chaos and confusion. The US had no strategy other than betting on regime change. When this could not be achieved quickly, everything went awry. No wonder the speaker of the Iranian parliament is sarcastic: "They started with promises to change the regime, and now they are only asking someone to help find an American pilot. Brilliant strategy!"," Pushkov writes on the social network Max.

As reported by EADaily, about half of the Iranian missile launchers are intact, and there are thousands of attack drones in Iran's arsenal. This was reported by CNN with reference to three sources.
