This morning, on March 30, the state messenger MAX stopped working in Russia, follows from the data of Downdetector. The MAX administration confirmed the failure.
After 9.00, users left more than 2700 complaints about problems with access to the service. The comments say that the messenger does not open, does not allow you to send and receive messages, as well as download media files.
"The failure is at MAX. Posts are also practically not sent," the authors of the TC "Two Majors" write.
Most of the complaints came from the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Krai and Samara region. The administration of the MAX confirmed the failure, noting that specialists are working to solve the problem.
The Russian authorities are actively promoting the state messenger to citizens, referring to its "security" and "reliability", while blocking foreign services — Telegram and WhatsApp.
Max reported that by the end of March 107 million people had installed the messenger, and its daily audience exceeded 77 million.
