The Iranian military command, known as Khatam al-Anbia and responsible for coordinating the actions of the army and the IRGC, issued a warning to the states supporting the opposition Iran International TV channel. This is reported by the Iranian news agency Tasnim.
Turkmen mass media reported that this TV channel is broadcast via the Turkmen communication satellite TürkmenÄlem 52E/MonacoSat. This satellite also serves the BBC in Persian, Radio Farda — the service of Radio Liberty"❶❷ in Farsi, as well as many other television and radio channels.
According to information from Iran International, the Iranian authorities have sent an official warning to the governments of Turkmenistan and Monaco, where the infrastructure for satellite broadcasting is also located.
