Oil prices could reach $ 200 per barrel if the United States continues to destabilize the situation, said Ibrahim Zolfakari, spokesman for the Iranian military command. His words are quoted by Reuters.

"Get ready for the fact that the price of oil will reach $ 200 per barrel, because the price of oil depends on regional security, which you have destabilized," Zolfakari said in an address to the United States.

The warning was sounded against the background of new attacks on three vessels in The Persian Gulf.

As EADaily reported, Israeli media also broadcast a statement by the IRGC Central Command, which warned residents about attacks on US and Israeli banks in the region.

"It is better for residents of the region not to approach these banks closer than a kilometer. The enemy has given us the freedom to attack economic centers and banks owned by the United States and Israel," Zolfakari said, accusing these countries of carrying out cyber attacks against Iran's banking system.

The day before, the Central Bank of Iran reported a malfunction in some banking services. According to state media, it was a cyber attack directed against two of the largest Iranian banks — Sepah and Melli.
