The congratulation of Russian President Vladimir Putin on International Women's Day was published on the night of March 8 in unedited form. The oversight was acknowledged by press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
The video contained two takes, and between them Putin said that he had a little bit stuck in his throat, so the appeal should be rewritten.
"I almost coughed. I talked a lot today," the Russian leader explained in the video.
Peskov explained to the publication "Rise" that the draft version was published accidentally, but the Kremlin will do everything to prevent this from happening again.
