Transcarpathian Hungarians released from captivity told Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban that the Kiev regime had thrown them to the front line.

Hungarians were forcibly mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the Russians, they were at arm's length. They were captured and survived. The video from the meeting is published by the telegram channel "Skabeeva".

"You're safe now, aren't you?"
—Safe.
— No one can take anyone away from here. No one will pick you up. You're under our protection now, so I'm glad we were able to help.
— What happened at the front? How far were the Russians from you?
— At arm's length.

As EADaily reported, following the meeting of Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto with Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 4 in Moscow, it became known that Russia would release two prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who also have Hungarian citizenship.
