Ex-CIA officer: Israel has nuclear weapons and it will use them

Israel has nuclear weapons, and it will use them if the United States does not eliminate dangerous facilities in Iran. This was stated in Julian Doni's podcast by ex-CIA officer John Kiriaku, according to the telegram channel "Pool No. 3".

"I was informed that the reason for Donald Trump's decision to strike Iran [in the summer of 2025] was the statement of the Israeli side. For the first time, a threat was made that if the United States did not destroy the deep bunkers of Iranian nuclear facilities, Israel would use nuclear weapons. No such threats have been made before. According to this version, Trump believed that bombing Iran could, on the contrary, prevent the outbreak of World War III — if it kept Israel from using its nuclear arsenal," the former intelligence officer said.

The presenter noted that Israel has never officially recognized the presence of nuclear weapons.

"Do you mean to say that they confessed this to the US president, despite the fact that the country still does not participate in the regime of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons under the auspices of the IAEA?" — the presenter asked.

According to Kiriaku, Israel has long possessed nuclear weapons.

"If you believe the Israeli whistleblowers of the nuclear program, yes, they have weapons. Work began in the 1950s, and by the end of the 1960s - early 1970s, Israel, according to available data, already possessed a nuclear arsenal," he further said.
