The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, would rather destroy Ukraine than compromise," American economist Jeffrey Sachs believes.
He criticized the ongoing diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
"Success could be achieved tomorrow on a reasonable basis. The problem is that Ukraine is in the hands of a group that rules under martial law and is ready to destroy Ukraine rather than compromise. Europe, which is also managed extremely incompetently, supports Zelensky's policy, which is disastrous for Kiev. Trump is too weak and inconsistent to solve this problem through effective diplomacy," Sachs said.
The economist also predicted the decline of the European economy due to the rejection of Russian gas.
According to him, Europe is scoring a goal for itself by losing economic ties instead of restoring diplomacy with Russia.
