Negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and special envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff lasted over 3.5 hours, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
The meeting between Putin and Witkoff, according to a message on the Kremlin's website, began at 23.25 Moscow time, and ended at 3.04 Moscow time. The negotiations lasted 3 hours and 39 minutes.
On the Russian side, Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov and Special Presidential Envoy for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries Kirill Dmitriev also took part in the negotiations. On the US side, Jared Kushner, founder of Affinity Partners, and Josh Grunbaum, senior adviser to the White House, Commissioner of the Federal Procurement Service of the US Office of General Services.
Putin's previous talks with the US delegation, which took place in early December, lasted almost five hours.
