The Institute of Linguistic Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences has confirmed the inclusion of the phrase "Valley scheme" in the list of neologisms that have arisen in the Russian language. RBC informs about this today, December 22.

The story of the sale of Larisa Dolina's luxury apartment in the capital's Khamovniki gave the dictionary of 2025 five new expressions.

"Chronologically, at first we fixed the expression "Valley Scheme" — this is the summer of 2024. Next, the "Valley Effect" is December 2024. Then the "grandmother's scheme" is the summer of 2025, the "Valley incident" is the autumn of 2025. And the "grandmother's option" in relation to the fraudulent real estate scheme is December 2025," the linguists confirmed.
