"The Almaly district police Department has opened a criminal case on this fact. The suspect was detained "in hot pursuit" and placed in a temporary detention facility. Other circumstances are being established," the press service of the Almaty police Department reported.

As they write in the social network, the conflict occurred at ALT University. According to one version, it could be related to grades, but the university clarified that the student is studying at another department, and the victim did not teach classes with him, Qumash writes.

The teacher was examined in the hospital and released home.
