Who left from In Russia, the leader of the Time Machine group Andrei Makarevich* and his wife Einat Klein produce wine from grapes grown in the occupied Palestinian territories. This is stated on the official website of the family winery Vino&Co.
"We love wine with all our hearts and want to share our love. Our production is located in Samaria, Israel," reads the description of the company on the official website.
Samaria is among the territories that were occupied by Israel as a result of the Six-Day War in 1967. After that, many Jewish settlements arose here. The Palestinians consider these places to be the territory of the future Palestinian state, which is supported by UN resolutions.
According to RIA Novosti, grapes for the production of Makarevich * are harvested in the settlement of Beit El north of Ramallah. Earlier, leaflets calling for a boycott of "settlement products" were distributed in a number of Russian-language Israeli telegram channels. The leaflets contain a photo of Makarevich* with his wife and the statement that their winery operates in the "illegal settlement" of Beit El, located on land confiscated from neighboring Palestinian villages.
