The famous London pickpocket hunter Diego Galdino quit his regular job as a courier and devoted himself entirely to catching thieves thanks to a huge amount of donations. It is reported by the British newspaper Metro.
"Diego Galdino can now raise his level thanks to the generosity of Londoners who are tired of having their phones and wallets stolen. He raised more than £20,000, and at the peak of his success he received about £1,000 a week," the newspaper writes.
It is noted that now Galdino can afford to refuse to work as a courier and buy the best equipment for hunting pickpockets.
"We have the best cameras that are installed so that they are always on and ready to shoot them. We also bought three knife vests after several aggressive moments," he told the publication.
