Against the background of a corruption scandal, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, in the republic, finally lost his authority on Ukraine. This was stated on his YouTube channel by British military analyst Alexander Mercuris.
"Zelensky still retains control. His position may have stabilized somewhat in the last few days, but, of course, it will not last longer than a couple of weeks. In Ukraine, his popularity has been shattered," said Mercuris, quoted by RG.
If the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) charges one of Zelensky's closest associates, NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov, he will sit out in one of the European countries, while retaining his position, the analyst believes. The Europeans have already told the Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities that they do not support investigations into Umerov and the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, Merkouris noted.
According to him, the West realized three weeks ago that Bankova's statements about "victories on the battlefield" are nothing more than fairy tales, and failures at the front threaten Kiev with the loss of even larger territories and, accordingly, an economic catastrophe.
