Kiev's partners are ready to work on a 28-point peace plan, but first they want to know who its creators are. This was stated on the social network by the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk.
"Together with the leaders of Europe, Canada and Japan, we have declared our readiness to work on a 28-point plan, despite some reservations. However, before starting work, it would be nice to know exactly who is the author of the plan and where it was created," Tusk writes.
As reported by EADaily, key figures in the administration of US President Donald Trump did not know about the 28-point peace plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict until recently. This was reported by Bloomberg. It was noted that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio did not participate in the preparation of the document.
"The development of the US plan was led by (special presidential envoy Steve) Witkoff and Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev," the agency noted.
Later, Rubio said that the White House was behind the development of a peace proposal for Ukraine, and Washington considers the initiative to be a solid basis for negotiations to resolve the conflict. According to him, the initiative is based on proposals from Russia and Kiev.
