Until recently, key figures in the administration of US President Donald Trump did not know about the 28-point peace plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. This is reported by Bloomberg.

It is noted that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio did not participate in the preparation of the document.

"The development of the US plan was led by (special presidential envoy Steve) Witkoff and Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev, without significant American interagency involvement and key officials who remained in the dark until the last, according to people familiar with the matter.
