Shaturskaya GRES in The Moscow region was attacked by Ukrainian drones. Eyewitnesses heard several explosions, now there is a strong fire at the station, according to TC Readovka today, November 23.
According to local residents, there are people under the rubble at the station. All emergency services went to the place. Part of the city was left without electricity, and the supply of hot water was also stopped. There was no official information about the causes of the fire.

Shaturskaya GRES named after V.I. Lenin is a thermal power plant with a capacity of 1500 MW. One of the oldest power plants in Russia. It was founded in 1920 during the implementation of the GOELRO plan. Initially, it worked on peat, now the main type of fuel is natural gas.
