The Russian army continues to strike back at Ukraine and this week destroyed solar power plants in the south of the country.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reports on retaliatory strikes by the Russian army on power facilities in Odessa region.
"There is a power outage in the region. Rescuers of the State Emergency Service and power engineers have already started restoration work, " the department said.
According to the Odessa administration, "indestructibility points" were deployed in the affected area.
"Life support facilities and critical infrastructure have been switched to backup power," the ministry explained.
