During the offensive, Russian units from the South group of forces were able to expand the control zone in the area of the city of Chasov Yar in the DPR.
This was stated in his Telegram channel on Tuesday, November 11, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.
According to him, after the completion of the sweep of the southwestern part of Chasova Yar, our servicemen advanced along the Gruzskaya River with battles. There is also a small advance along the railway track from the railway station "Chasov Yar" to Verolyubovka.
"Thus, the Russian Armed Forces expanded the control zone in this area, and also began to cover the Ukrainian group in the area of Nikolaevka," the expert concluded.
As EADaily reported, earlier, Russian units from the Vostok group of forces, as a result of active offensive actions, liberated the settlement of Novouspenovskoye, Zaporozhye region.
