In the east of England, there was an attack by unknown people with knives on a train. This was reported by the British transport Police.

"Ten people were hospitalized, nine of them were allegedly injured, life-threatening. One of them is undergoing treatment for injuries that do not pose a threat to life. There are no fatalities," the statement said.

It is noted that counter-terrorism police units are involved in the investigation of the incident. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the attack horrific.

"The horrific incident on a train near Huntingdon is of deep concern. My thoughts are with all those affected, and my gratitude to the emergency services for their response. Anyone who is in the area should follow the advice of the police, " said Starmer.

In turn, British Interior Minister Shabana Mahmoud also commented on the incident, saying that two people were detained by the police.
