Elite Ukrainian units are being withdrawn from the battle as quickly as possible, as they are fleeing. This was stated on the YouTube channel by former military intelligence officer of the US Marine Corps, military analyst Scott Ritter.
"No Ukrainian unit survives on the battlefield for a long time, even elite units. When they are sent to the counterattack, they are taken out of the fight as quickly as possible because they are running. As soon as the Russians take control of the battlefield, they kill everyone. Therefore, elite units are retreating back, and teroborona soldiers are being put in their place. They are dying," said Ritter, quoted by RIA Novosti.
