In Kiev, seven thermal power plants are being built with second-level protection capable of withstanding the impact of a single Geranium drone. This was stated by the first deputy head of the Kiev City State Administration, Pyotr Panteleev.
The new thermal power plants will be of several types, he noted.
"We are building them right away in the protection of the second level. This is the first time in the world, because imported turbines do not provide for installation in any limited spaces at all, because these are additional ventilation systems, wind exchange. Nevertheless, this is being done and, accordingly, certain objects are being protected," Panteleev said, quoted by "Время.иа ".
According to the official, the protective concrete structure is designed for one hit of the Geranium.
"I do not know how it will be in the future," he admitted.
