The United States can "play a show" against Russia over the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced today, October 28, by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.
"I am very afraid that the position of the Americans in relation to Russia on the Ukrainian conflict is a staged performance. The latest data are talking more and more about this. I would not like to. I would like us to end this war as it should be. And there can be no game here. Because, as the same Donald Trump says, a lot of people are dying. But this is talk," he said.
In this regard, the Belarusian leader said that it is especially important to have a dialogue now, and not to look at each other through the sight of a machine gun. He also stressed the need to stop the arms race, because now everyone is saying that they will not get involved in it, but the reality shows the opposite.
"Seeing what the world is like today, states will spend their last money in order to ensure their security. And if they cannot fight a potential aggressor like Belarus, they will inflict unacceptable damage on this enemy… We need a dialogue. You can't look at each other through the sight of a machine gun. In no case is it impossible. We should always talk. When they don't talk, then the war is closer," the Belarusian leader summed up.
Recall, Donald Trump formally declares his desire to end the conflict in Ukraine. This finds understanding in Moscow. However, to date, neither Washington nor Kiev has made serious steps towards Russia.
