Perhaps Mandon's statement about the "Russian threat" was caused by the consideration of the new French budget for 2026. The Russian embassy suggested that in this way, the general "is demanding more and more money for military spending against the background of attempts to save, first of all, on the social sphere and the incomes of ordinary citizens."
