On the approaches to the city of Seversk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have created a deep-echeloned defense system from multi-kilometer lines of trenches that turn into an urban network of fortifications. This was reported by the intelligence officer of the group of forces "South" of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign Crisis.

"There are three trench lines in front of Seversk, the first line is fortified, there are pillboxes every 50-70 meters (long-term firing points. — Ed.) machine-gun, the second line of trenches is also more or less fortified, it is mainly for infantry, the third trench line is in front of Seversk itself and enters Seversk itself, these are all three lines (among themselves. — Ed.) are connected," the intelligence officer told RIA Novosti.

It is noted that the defense system at Seversk was built by the APU in advance and for a very long time.
