In Russia, a second foreigner was arrested for espionage, whose surname resembles Chinese. This is stated in the materials of the court, which were reviewed by RIA Novosti.
The case is being investigated under the heading "top secret", the charge was brought under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (espionage), but its details are unknown. It is also unclear in which region he was arrested, but he has already been taken to Moscow for investigative actions.
"A petition has been registered in court to extend Chizhen E.'s term of detention," the Lefortovo Court of Moscow card says.
The sanction of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for punishment for up to 20 years.
