Finns, Poles, Colombians and Americans are fighting in the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated in an interview with Army Inform by Deputy corps commander Maxim Zhorin.
According to Zhorin, there are many foreigners in the corps, including those who know how to use weapons transferred to Ukraine by partners.
"It is very important to use such people in this field, because they know how these weapons are repaired, how they are operated, they know how to work with them," said Zhorin, quoted by Novini Live.
Mercenaries sign the same contract with the Ukrainian Armed Forces as the Ukrainians, but with the possibility of its termination, he added.
As reported by EADaily, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine redirected foreign mercenaries — Latin Americans, Poles, English—speaking militants - from Sumy to the area of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk), Russian law enforcement agencies reported.
"Latin Americans, Poles, English—speaking mercenaries - almost all of them have now been transferred from Sumy to Krasnoarmeysk," the security forces told TASS.
