This morning, on September 8, in Jerusalem, two terrorists in a car opened fire with automatic weapons on a bus and people at a bus stop. As a result of the terrorist attack, six people were killed and 10 were injured, Israeli media reported.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Ramot and Yigal Yadin Street. The shooters themselves were also killed by return fire from one military and civilian with a pistol. Their names have not been called yet, but it is known that one woman and five men are among the victims of the terrorist attack. Among them are two rabbis, one repatriate from Spain. Two of the wounded died in hospital.
To date, the Russian Embassy in Israel has not received any information about the dead or injured Russian citizens as a result of an armed attack on a passenger bus in Jerusalem.
