After the end of the conflict, Ukraine will be divided into three zones — Russian, demilitarized and western. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at the opening of the political season in Ketch.
"Today, Europeans are "elegantly" talking about security guarantees, but these guarantees actually mean the division of Ukraine... The result of the division of Ukraine will be the Russian zone, the demilitarized zone and, finally, the western zone, the outlines and status of which we cannot say anything definite yet. But we see that Ukraine is turning into a territory consisting of three zones," Orban said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Orban noted at the same time that the West has already de facto "recognized the existence of the Russian zone" and now it's just a question of how many regions it will include.
"The discussion is only about whether it will consist of two, four, five or six areas. But her absence is out of the question. The Russian zone has already been created. It covers approximately 20 percent of the territory of Ukraine. This is already the past, and they no longer argue about it. There is a discussion about how many kilometers from the border of the Russian zone a demilitarized zone should be created: 40 kilometers, 50, 100, 200 — we do not know, this is happening now. This will be the second zone," Orban added.
