In Sukhum, on Lakoba Street, work began on the reconstruction of the house where the family of the first deputy head of the Presidential administration of Russia, a native of Abkhazia Sergey Kirienko, lived. This was announced on September 5 by the President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba at a meeting with the head of the administration of Sukhum Timur Agrba.
The Head of State instructed the metropolitan administration to provide maximum assistance and support in the implementation of this project.
"Sergey Vladilenovich decided to restore the house at the expense of his personal funds, but after the restoration of the house to donate it to the Otar Khuntsaria State Orchestra of Folk Instruments as workshops for making instruments and halls for learning to play traditional Abkhaz instruments," Apsny Iakha reports.
The orchestra has not had its own rehearsal hall since its inception.
