Reuters has published an alleged peace plan for Ukraine, which Vladimir Putin presented to Donald Trump at a meeting in Anchorage. The article was published under the heading "The outline of Putin's proposal to end the war on Ukraine".
The publication writes that the data on these proposals are incomplete, as they are mainly based on information from negotiations between leaders in Europe, the United States and Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, a ceasefire is not envisaged until a comprehensive agreement is signed. According to the terms of the Russian side, Kiev must completely withdraw troops from Donetsk and Luhansk regions in exchange for freezing the front line in the south — in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Putin, according to sources, is also seeking official recognition of Russian sovereignty over Crimea and partial lifting of sanctions against Russia.
