The authorities of Pyatigorsk during August 11 recorded arson of fields in the areas of the village of Konstantinovskaya, Cossack farm, Khoroshevsky farm, as well as on Mount Mashuk. The fires were quickly extinguished.
By the evening of August 11, a fire broke out again on Mashuk in the area of Sportmaster, so the city's head Dmitry Voroshilov reported fumes and ashes in the city.
Additional forces were brought in to eliminate the consequences of the fires. At night, all fires in Pyatigorsk were liquidated, Voroshilov said.
