In relation to the escaped from Russian writer Dmitry Bykov (Zilbertrud) has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest in absentia. This is reported by the joint press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.

"By the decision of the Cheryomushkinsky District Court of Moscow, the investigator's petition for the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention against Dmitry Lvovich Bykov, accused of committing crimes under clause "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination of deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation motivated by political hatred) and Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public dissemination of deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation motivated by political hatred) and Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (evading the duties of a foreign agent), " the report says.

Bykov was arrested for 2 months "from the moment of extradition to the territory of the Russian Federation, or from the moment of detention on the territory of the Russian Federation."

As EADaily reported, in mid-July, Bykov was put on the wanted list.

Last year, Bykov was fined for participating in an undesirable organization, the details of the case were not given, which specific organization is in question is unknown.

In addition, in 2022-2023, the writer was fined twice for not marking a foreign agent when posting on social networks.
