A powerful explosion occurred in the very center of Turin. One person was killed, several were injured, including a child.
In a residential building today, June 30, an explosion occurred on Via Nice street. According to rescuers, three adults and two children were injured, including a 12-year-old child who is now in hospital with serious burns. Doctors' forecasts are cautious; according to the Paradise TV channel, 30% of the child's body surface was burned.
The deceased was a 35-year-old man who had previously been reported missing. According to the fire service, rescuers found him in a burnt-out room after the explosion.
Because of the blast wave, the street was damaged. The footage shows fragments of stones and structures that damaged parked cars. The cause of the explosion is still unknown.
