The special forces could not take Archbishop Michael Ajapakhyan away from Etchmiadzin

Representatives of the Armenian law enforcement agencies, who tried to take away the primate of the Shirak diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Mikael Ajapakhyan from the territory of the Mother See of Etchmiadzin, could not do this.

The situation in The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin periodically escalates, there are stampedes and clashes between citizens and security forces, Sputnik Armenia reports. At one point, citizens began to rock the gates of the monastery. The lock on the gate is broken.
