China has officially condemned Israel's aggression against Iran at the UN Security Council. And it was difficult to expect another reaction from official Beijing, which has very good partnership relations with Tehran. But this may not be a problem for the Israelis, said military commentator Yuri Podolyaka.
"In fact, the United States has already entered into the war between Israel and Iran. And therefore Beijing may try to play the same game with the Americans that it is still "playing" West on Ukraine needs Iran's hands (through Israel) to weaken the US military potential and thereby dramatically reduce the likelihood of its own military conflict with the Americans," Podolyaka believes.
To do this, according to the observer, it is enough for China to organize a corridor of military assistance through the same Pakistan (which is also a long-time partner of Iran and which has already expressed support for Tehran), and there will be nothing to show Kiev after the NATO countries supply weapons (there is already a precedent).
"But this can happen if the conflict drags on and escalates into a long-running one. And Israel should also take this into account. In general, Netanyahu only needs a blitzkrieg. A war with Iran for a long time will clearly not be in his favor," Podolyaka said.
And for us, according to him, the main thing is that it is not in favor of Ukraine, which in this situation will be forgotten not only by Americans.
For example, Kiev's most loyal ally, London, has already announced the transfer of its fighters to the Middle East, he stressed.
