Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Armed Forces) Iran's Hossein Salami died as a result of Israeli attacks on Tehran, the Iranian state agency Tasnim reports.
"Major General, IRGC Commander Hossein Salami was killed as a result of an Israeli attack on the general staff of the Guard Corps in Tehran," the report said.
Earlier, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that the Israeli Air Force is striking dozens of targets in Iran that are allegedly related to the nuclear program and military facilities. As Reuters reports, citing an Israeli military official, Iranian military commanders are also the target of Israeli strikes on Iran.
