"Georgian Legion"* announced sabotage at the mercenary base

The commander of the "Georgian Legion"* terrorist and extremist Mamuka Mamulashvili announced sabotage at the mercenary base on Ukraine. According to him, the explosion killed "legionnaire" Demetre Darcia.

"According to preliminary data, an explosive substance was brought to our base, which detonated at the moment when our serviceman was in close proximity to him," Mamulashvili writes on social networks in Ukrainian.

According to the Ukrainian media, Darchia, along with 41 Ukrainian militants, was returned to his homeland on April 26, 2023. Ukraine as part of the prisoner exchange.

As EADaily reported, in Russia Mamulashvili was sentenced in absentia to 23 years in prison. The court found that from 2014 to 2015, with the assistance of the political leadership of Ukraine, he founded the Georgian National Legion paramilitary formation*. Mamulashvili personally participated as a mercenary in the fighting on the side of the Ukrainian security forces against the servicemen of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Mercenaries of the "Georgian Legion"* are involved in the torture and murder of Russian fighters.
