The head of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and state Building, Andrei Klishas, commenting on the situation in Los Angeles, where National Guard troops are deployed, called what was happening a civil war.
"The events in the United States are very reminiscent of the civil war, in which criminals and illegal migrants decided to impose their will on ordinary Americans and the state," the senator believes.
Klishas predicts that the result of this confrontation "will mean a lot, and not only for the United States."
